Creating a Fraud Free World @SEON: The Story

Tamas Kadar, CEO and Co Founder and Bence Jendruszak, COO and Co Founder, launched their first venture, a crypto currency exchange during their final year of university. Weeks in, they were attacked by online fraudsters. 😮 They were forced to hack together a set of tools to instantly inform them if a transaction was genuine or not. They then pivoted to building a platform that can detect fraudulent activity instead and that is how SEON was born. 🤩

They knew they could not do it alone so they teamed up with Miklos Kiss CPO and Balint Dali, CTO to enhance the revolutionary platform. Since then, the journey has been unstoppable. 18 months in and we have grown from 18 to 155+ SEON Fraud Fighters, across Budapest, London, Austin and Jakarta. With more hubs opening up in San Francisco, Singapore, we are on a mission to create a Fraud Free World. We raised Series A in March 2021 and were featured in TechCrunch. We are proud to continue to grow at pace both in terms of helping the best online businesses and democratising fraud fighting.🔥🔥🔥

Why we need another Fraud Fighter in the role of Head of Content Marketing:

We're in for a crazy ride, and that's why we need bold and talented individuals who will own these key areas. Who will make an impact on the Front Office field - because, ultimately, these translate not only to a business bottom line, but in making the internet a safer space for everyone - whether business or consumer.

Your Impact - have you got what it takes to be part of the fraud fighting team:

  1. Take overall ownership of our content marketing strategy, working with the existing team to devise and implement a strategic approach to content marketing
  2. Lead the community and social media strategy
  3. Devise new meaningful content that takes a stale and ageing industry and modernises excites and establishes SEON as a thought leader in anti-fraud
  4. Work with the Senior SEO Manager to create content that ranks well and converts visitors into sign-ups and demo requests
  5. Deliver a video marketing strategy that educates and converts
  6. Lead the development and regular updates of SEONs blog articles
  7. Define objectives and KPIs for content, and deliver reporting to measure success
  8. Be a source of creativity and inspiration for the team as a whole
  9. Lead a growing team of 5 people and provide guidance, manage their priorities and time, setting up & lead team sync calls and manage expectations towards them to reach our objectives
  10. Create job descriptions and help with the interviewing and selection process of new teammates
  11. Develop SEONs tone of voice and become the guardian for tone.

Want to stand out, here’s how

  • 5+ years’ experience in content marketing
  • Working knowledge of contemporary SEO practices, frameworks and algorithm updates
  • Familiarity with Google suite including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Ads Manager
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMRush, AHRefs, Yoast etc
  • Experience working in Fintech or fraud related industries
  • Knowledge of Asana, Google G-suite, SEMrush and Hubspot

  1. A first interview with Tasnim Tudor, VP of People and Pak Hou - SEO Manager
  2. Second round with Jimmy Fong, CCO
  3. And finally we will ask you to meet the Co-founders
