The Product and Software engineering department drives, oversees, coordinates, and executes the entire lifecycle of the product development. It’s a huge job, which is why we break it down into objectives and task-oriented initiatives. That involves delegating to a bunch of teams, including the Admin, Scoring, Data Enrichment, AI, Growth, Onboarding, QA, DevOps, and more – all collaborating to build the best anti-fraud tool possible.

SEON’s machine learning engine suggests better ways to fight fraud. It’s a key part of why customers love us, and we’re always looking to improve our algorithms’ efficiency. That involves tons of fascinating data research and keeping our eyes on the latest AI trends – all while maintaining fantastic rates of optimization and scalability.

What you’ll do:

• You will be essential part of the Delivery sub-group of the AI team, responsible for the Java components
• Design and implement features in our REST API microservice related to the functionalities what our AI team deliver
  
• Maintain all the Java Spring microservices of the AI team. They are related to data integration, data ingestion and machine learning prediction.
• Preparation related to the introduction of data streaming solution (Kafka).
  
• Complete architectural decisions, negotiating with the Chief Architect.
• Deliver high-quality, tested code with simplicity, performance, and scalability in focus.
• Support, refine and suggest improvements to the current code base and new features

What you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of Java developer experience
• Developing Java REST APIs - Spring Boot experience
• Cloud environments (preferably AWS) - Docker
• Knowledge about CI/CD systems (TeamCity)
• Familiarity with different databases and document management engines      (eg.PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch)

Nice to have:

• Graph database (Neo4j)
• Experience with machine learning, or AI development
• Experience with data platforms
