The Product and Software engineering department drives, oversees, coordinates, and executes the entire lifecycle of the product development. It’s a huge job, which is why we break it down into objectives and task-oriented initiatives. That involves delegating to a bunch of teams, including the Admin, Scoring, Data Enrichment, AI, Growth, Onboarding, QA, DevOps, and more – all collaborating to build the best anti-fraud tool possible.
SEON’s fraud-fighting tools come with a fantastic dashboard, or admin panel. Customers use it to configure their tools and find the best way to fight fraudsters. It’s our team’s job to make sure that it works as smoothly as possible. We regularly R&D, design, test and update new features – all while obsessing about optimization and scalability.
What you'll do:
Collaborate with product leadership in product planning, resource management and dependency management
Help to design new functionalities with the Architect team
Support the development team in setting expectations with regular 1:1s and constant feedback
Participate in recruitment to scale the team
Determining project requirements and developing work schedules
Code quality assurance - understanding how the code is structured and finding the best ways to improve it
Execute and delegate development tasks to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure developments are delivered in time and high quality
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments
What you bring:
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
Strong leadership and organizational abilities
Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
Willingness to build professional relationships with different stakeholders
Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Excellent technical, diagnostic, troubleshooting and technology support skills
