The Product and Software engineering department drives, oversees, coordinates, and executes the entire lifecycle of the product development. It’s a huge job, which is why we break it down into objectives and task-oriented initiatives. That involves delegating to a bunch of teams, including the Admin, Scoring, Data Enrichment, AI, Growth, Onboarding, QA, DevOps, and more – all collaborating to build the best anti-fraud tool possible.
SEON, as a business, relies on a Product-Led-Growth approach. Ensuring the product is easy to understand is part of the Growth Team’s challenges. We maintain and develop the frontend and backend of the SEON docs to the highest standard. There is a mix of static parts and dynamic content – all of which must be delivered with fantastic speed and stability.
What you'll do:
- Implement business logic and improve our Applications managed by the frontend team
- Help to rebuild our current frontend applications with frameworks and techniques used by the team
- Deliver high-quality code with simplicity, performance, and scalability in focus
- Maintain and develop PHP/Node.js backend of our applications
- Supporting, refining and suggesting improvements to the current codebase
- Make sure that the produced code is secure, stable and scalable
- Providing expertise and suggesting best practices for the team
- Review pull requests of other team members
- Attend on meetings, collect necessary informations
- Support your colleagues
What you bring:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Software engineering capabilities in JavaScript and fundamental knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and RESTful API development
- Ability to cooperate with team members in Agile development methodology
- Out-of-the-box thinking combined with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English
Technical requirements:
- JavaScript, Typescript
- Knowledge of a modern framework such as React/Angular/Vue, preferably React
- NodeJS/PHP
- Experience with JavaScript unit testing preferably Jest
- HTML5, CSS3 (Scss)
- Git, Github
